Official Rules & Eligibility
Entrants must abide by all rules. Winners must not enter contractual endorsements without director permission. Contestants must be Jefferson County, Alabama residents for ≥ 6 months and U.S. citizens for ≥ 1 year; age must be 60–79; typed submissions required; general computer skills expected; up to three years of competition allowed.
Must be 60–79 years old at time of local competition.

Judges may form interview questions from your application; answer honestly and directly.
Preliminary Pageant – Film & Photography Release
Permission to use photographs/videos/likeness associated with participation in any MSJC function.
Confidential Medical Profile
This information is important in case of a medical emergency during pageant activities; it will be kept confidential. You may leave portions blank.
On‑Stage Introductions (10 seconds each)
Wardrobe Requirements (quick reference)
- Judges Interview: Businesslike attire (dress, suit with jacket, or pants suit). First impressions matter.
- Active Lifestyle Wear: Outfit + one handheld prop representing your active lifestyle.
- Fashion Runway: Model-forward outfits (e.g., jumpsuits/cocktail looks with trains, rhinestones/sequins). No evening gowns.
- Evening Gown & On‑Stage Question: Long, elegant gown with walkable shoes; answer the mic question, final pose, exit.
